Speaking Scripture
Speaking God’s Word out loud back to Him is incredibly powerful. It shows faith in Him and He likes that. Speaking scripture is the best tool you can use to build self-esteem, overcome addictions, conquer fear, receive healing and miracles. By repeating the verses, either silently or out loud, your body and mind hear the positive words. It’s nutrient that is soaked up into every cell. Saying the verses out loud gives them more power because you are bringing more focus to the words.
How Do I Know What Verse to Use?
The best resource is asking the Holy Spirit for guidance. You can also ask google what Bible verses deal with the specific problem or emotion you are struggling with.
How Many Times Should I Speak the Scriptures?
It’s recommended to speak each Bible verse 10 times each, 3 times per day. Pick only 2-4 Bible verses and focus on them for one month before changing and adding in different verses. This gives you time to think and absorb the words and you will more easily be able to recall the words later on. It’s also important to say the Book, Chapter, and Verse number.

It’s makes God happy! It also helps you to memorize different Bible verses and makes them easier to recall. Spiritual warfare is real and one of the most powerful ways to stop Satan is to speak God’s word. It makes the Bible verse more personal and familiar because you are using the power of God’s word and incorporating it into your daily life. Making this a habit helps our minds to stay focus on God and not the things of this world.
